First few weeks of the new life!

Well, I have officially started my new job as a Web Developer at the Helen Wells Agency in Carmel, IN. So far, I love it. I'm working on redoing their website, and developing it all in ASP.NET, something I've not really had too much training in. It's going really well though and I'm grasping concepts quickly.
I've made some good progress in doing database interaction and beginning what will soon be an intense content management system that's driven by a SQL Server 2005 database and will have features such as XML-driven Flash movies and picture galleries, custom user management controls and even a few new applications in Silverlight, so the clients will have something to interact with, instead of always having to check the website.
I've got a few ideas planned out, so keep your eyes open; the agency is really excited to have me and to see what all I can do for them. I'm equally as excited.
I've also moved into a new house, where I'm living with my best friend. It's an alright place, the price is right and it's away from my parents! I'm still living on the east side and have to commute to the north side every day for work, but it's not too bad. Driving 20 miles to and from work each day can have its taxing moments, but so far it's not been unbearable and has been rather relaxing, coming home from a day of programming.
Well, that's it for now. After being on a computer all day, being on a computer all night doesn't quite seem as appealing. Surprising, right? I know. Ciao!
